If anyone was wondering (because we've had some people say things...)
1. When is Brandon going back to work?
Brandon has been very fortunate to have this time off until the end of the year. We were having a lot of problems before and Satan was trying to tear our marriage apart but we came back together and we are going in the right direction now. We are still learning as we go along but we've learned a lot about ourselves and each other. I am so thankful that Brandon gets this time off. It gives us more time (not much but more than we would have) to focus on Our family. (Our kids and each other) We get to have the privilege of taking Caleb to school together and spending that time with him there. Taking him to therapy together...taking Caleb on outings like we did when we went to the beach. And also spending some QT with Micaiah. We HAVE to remember to devote some "Only" time for Micaiah. Plus we are involving ourselves in church now and changing our lives through Christ. Brandon was and still is going through his own emotions. I have a hard time understanding how he feels so NO ONE can begin to even imagine how he feels. And me trying to explain everything is personal anyways. Try to start from the beginning...How would you feel if you were in his shoes and the same thing happened to your son? There is no saying "well that would have never happened." You NEVER know what will happen. Only God knows that and only a fool would say such a thing. So anyways if you may be thinking Brandon SHOULD go back to work try putting yourself in his shoes. Come to our house and you can do it all for a week. We can not be judgemental. No one can ever say they would do this or that if they were in someone elses shoes. How do you know? You can only think. Same goes for us too.
2. ABSOLUTELY NONE of the money donated to Caleb or his fund is being used by us. We would NEVER take money from our kids. Brandon gets unemployment and we are living off of our savings. Plus I got an unexpected settlement from a major accident we were in four years ago. Plus we do have our own bills but what really helps is that we don't have a mortgage or rent to pay. (It's a blessing I guess...in disguise) GOD has been providing for us somehow. See, when you put your trust in him, he provides for all our needs. Yes, even finances! Caleb's money will be put to things specifically for him and for his medical bills. There are many things I am looking into buying to help Caleb more in his recovery such as a hyperbaric chamber, therapy things, furniture designed especially for him...and many, many other things. He can't play like he could before YET so there's things that I want to get for him that he can have fun with now. OH, like maybe a car like the one he drives at school! And a swing! Anyways, thats some of the things I would like for him and when I finally get it, the money donated for him will go towards some of that. When Caleb is better, EVERYTHING will be donated. We will NOT profit from anything. We will not Sell it...ALL of it will be donated. (Including our wheelchair accessible van)
3. We are so incredibly thankful for everyone who did donate money. We already wrote close to 300 thank you's and still got a lot more to go. We have a very busy life and it's hard for us to find some spare time. Every spare moment we get we like to devote to our boys and each other. We are building up our family. So if you are waiting for a thank you or upset that you didn't get one please know that we are very very sorry. They will all be getting to you at some point. If you would like to be sure that you do receive one or if you donated money to the bank (we do not get names or addresses to those who donate directly to the bank) please email me your address at prayforcaleb@yahoo.com and I will send you a thank you picture. But thank you so much for your donations! We can't begin to thank you enough.
Although everything may seem fine in our lives now...it is a constant battle for us. We do have smiles on our faces and are positive most of the time. We do focus on Christ above all else. But there are many times when we are feeling down or we become sad for what Caleb is going through. The way Caleb was before constantly replays in our minds and it makes us so sad to see him so different the way he is now. We miss the way he was everyday. And we really can't wait till God restores him completely to us. We battle with Satan everyday. It's crazy how hard Satan is trying to tear us down. But I think because we are seeking Christ everyday and fellowshiping with other Christians we are able to recognize it and put up our armor of God!
Like Satan has been attacking us through others (non Christians) which brought forth the reason for this blog today. He's gonna keep trying...and it will be even more so when Caleb is healed!
On a more brighter note...
Caleb had fun at school on Monday! He got to ride the car again and went in the swing. While he was doing therapy he held up his head on his own for a few seconds too! Praise God! We also had a wonderful weekend. Brandon and I spoke at New Hope Leeward and my sisters and I danced too. It was tiring but it's all for the glory of God! Caleb stayed home with my mom and then Brandon's dad came too on Sunday. We wanted to take Caleb somewhere fun this week but it's questionable due to the weather. And it seems that Caleb is smiling a bit more. Not a full on smile yet but a little crack. Hey, just like how when he first started opening his eyes. It took awhile to fully open but eventually did! We are constantly blessed by all the support from our parents, my sisters, and some special friends of ours for watching our boys so we can be able to attend things with church and grow deeper in Christ and in our relationship together too. Thank you Lord for all of them!
God Bless you all and please continue to pray that Caleb will smile big...maybe talk soon? and that he will rest well and long so we can get sleep too! Thank you so much!

Stay focus and continue to let the Lord lead you. Allow ALL to speak what they want...it's up to you, to read between the lines. Believe it or not...you will be glorified. God is watching over your family. Caleb has touched so many peoples hearts...more than you'll ever know!
Caleb, we are so proud of your strength and accomplishments. Tell us what you need...and you will be glorified. Be strong...and know that you're loved dearly by your family and those around you. Trust in the Lord's promise...Come forth in the name of Jesus.
Amen
Hi Kehau, Brandon, Caleb and Micaiah! Yes, definitely stay the course...words and whispers are just another way for satan to attack you all as you live the life he could have had but so carelessly threw away. For every person that doubts there are hundreds that truly believe...you are an inspiration to so many people so just stay strong and stay in the word. I am sooooo glad that you are doing things as a couple. It is very important and is all part of God's plan...He brought you together and I know He is happy that you are trying so hard to make this all work. Kehau we miss you so so much in our group...we went back last night and it was great to see everyone but you were definitely missed. Maybe you can join us when we "socialize" away from WITW! Hope to see you again soon. We pray for all of you daily and look forward to continued praise reports!
Love You Much,
Nat
