I'm soooo sorry for not blogging yesterday. We were very busy and I wasn't able to make it to a computer in time. And I'm sorry this one is so late tonight. I know a lot of you must be checking it and wondering whats going on!
Well, yesterday was a blessed day! Brandon and I are now HUSBAND and WIFE! How nice it is to call him my husband. I love it! God has answered so many of our prayers! We put some "stud-ly" clothes on Caleb for the ceremony. He looked so handsome and he was a great ring bearer. Thank you all who were able to make it to celebrate with us at such a short notice and to all of you who left comments. The nurses are so awesome and caring too! We really love them! They were so excited for us. They said it was the first wedding they've ever had there! We're in the record books! haha. But they're so cute...they got us the conference room in the cafe for us to use and bought us leis, a card, and a rose arrangement. So we gave them dinner! Everywhere around us we are surrounded by love.
We are so grateful...so grateful for all of you! Words cannot express our gratitude! We are so blessed to have such a loving family, friends, and extended friends and family. It is so awesome! We are blown away everyday. Your continuous prayers, support, and comforting cards fill our hearts with love and lift us up everyday. Thank you.
God continues to answer everyones prayers! Prayers are so powerful and God is so awesome! Today they took Caleb off the ventilator. Well, he is still hooked up to it but they totally took him off the support so he has been breathing on his own. There are some moments where he doesn't breathe. (Just for a few seconds) But he has been doing really well off of it and he will only continue to get stronger and stronger! I'm still waiting patiently for him to open his eyes! But I know he will when he's ready.
On Sunday morning we went to New Hope Leeward for service. The sermon was "Why do bad things happen to good people." It really touched our hearts and we were so glad we went. They also mentioned Caleb's story and they saw us in the crowd and asked us to come up and say a little something. So we did. It was wonderful. I realized I didn't every post the whole story about that horrible day. I will post it...hopefully tomorrow. Sorry but we've got to get back to the hospital now so until tomorrow!
Oh wait...sorry this is so long but today the boy next to Caleb had a bad day. He is 21 and has been fighting cancer for 8 months. The doctors pretty much told his family that he probably won't make it much longer so his entire family was there today totally devasted. Please pray for Bryce and his family. He is saved...and is in God's hands. We know that he will be at peace if it is his time to go home to God...or maybe he's not done with his work here yet. God is the only one who knows and he can make a complete turn around. The doctors aren't always right...as God has shown through Caleb. So please pray for Bryce and his family!
THANK YOU THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH for your love, support and prayers! We love you so, so much!
