The next few days

The next few days are gonna be tough. Tomorrow morning they are going to pull the tube out of Caleb's throat to see how he can breathe without it. He has been breathing on his own but through the tube...so it's like breathing through a straw. (That's pretty hard I'd imagine) So please pray for Caleb that he will do well on his own without any type of ventilator. He needs to be able to cough on his own too so he can get all the secretions out of him. If he is able to do all of this on his own he will not need to get a trechiotomy (sp?). We know it's possible because God can do anything as he's shown us so much of the "impossible" already!
The doctor on Caleb's case actually talked positively today and gave us good news. Usually he is so negative even when he is improving so we usually avoid talking to him. But we were joking about him today because we thought, WOW, if he is saying good things then he's really doing well! God is changing his heart too. :)
Today I got to hold him again!!! I love it and so does he. He's really calm when he's in my arms. He doesn't have those muscle spasms. Brandon and I also gave him a really good bath today. It's nice to have that to bond more with him. Caleb also had physical therapy today which he did well with. So far they have said that he doesn't need splints. So please keep praying that he won't need that. God is working a miracle...HE really is. It's a slow process but we are trying to be patient. Hearts change over time and that is what God is doing for so many people through this trial...especially the changing of OUR hearts.
Bryce, the 21 year old that was in the bed next to Caleb, went home to God last night. Please keep his family in your prayers also as they grieve over his loss. We know he's in a much better place now...but still, I know it's so hard to deal with the loss of a loved one. So please pray for Bryce's family.
We know you've all been continuosly praying for Caleb! Please pray extra hard for him that he will do well with so many things he WILL overcome in the next few days...and BELIEVE! Thank you saints! We love you...

God is awesome....and He will finish what He started for HIS Glory.
Someone from our 45+ Ohana just got word that her daughter in Texas accidentally fell into the swimming pool and is in a coma. We know God is the Lord of all and Calebs life is an encouragement to them.
