Caleb had physical therapy again this morning. An extra session this week! His therapist wanted him to come in an extra day so he could use the stander which is where he is straped into something that you can put at any angle. He could stand in it so he can put pressure on his legs. He did really well on it and was able to go at a 60 degree angle for quite awhile. Thanks Tiffany for loaning us the stander. We think that it is really helping him out because tonight when we were stretching him out his legs were so flexible! We were able to stretch his legs out really well without much problems.
After Caleb's session we stopped by at Kaimuki Christian. He really enjoyed being in his class again and seeing all his friends and teachers. The kids sang songs for him some of which were his favorite. I recognized some that he would often sing at home or in the car. I had a bit of a hard time at first. Just to see all the kids that he once talked about so much and I watched him play with or get into trouble with made me cry. I tried so hard to hold back tears but they still managed to dribble down my face. I didn't even think it would be hard for me to take him there but it was. It was really hard. I miss it soooo much. Just writing about it right now is making me cry uncontrollably. One of the little girls wanted to come and give me a hug...and so she did. Later I realized that she was one of the girls from the 4 year old class that he mentioned quite a bit. But I never knew who she was because she wasn't in his class. What a cutie! And another girl came and gave him a hug. After, the kids gathered around him to see him and talk to him. He really enjoyed it I think. I need to get over it...it's about him...and I know he loved being back at school. Micaiah loved it too. All the kids were gathering around him and talking to him too. He had a huge smile the whole time and just sat in his carseat looking at all the kids. I guess he can't wait to go to school too!
We received more donations from our KCS Ohana today. Thank you all so very much! Blessings continue to pour down on us everyday!
Tonight my mom and I took Caleb and Micaiah for a walk down to the shopping center. Caleb always enjoyed walks. We would often take walks down to the park, shopping center, or just around the block. He still does love it...and so does Micaiah. I just want to try to keep everything how it used to be as much as possible. We are going to be ordering him a swing to put in the yard. He loved the swings. When I would take him to the park he would make me push him for so long my arms would get sore. So I found a swing that is specially made for children like him. It will be a way for him to play like he used to...sort of.

Tomorrow we've got more appointments! He's got to go for his EEG which I mentioned a couple blogs ago and he also has to go to Shriners tomorrow. We've been waiting to take him there to get new splints for him. So we are going to have another long day of appointments. It's never ending. So I guess I should get some sleep while the boys are sleeping! God Bless!
