It's April 1st...new beginnings and great things are going to happen this month! Caleb has been stable and we continue to pray everyday to see more of God's miracle. Please just continue to pray with us for him that he will make a miraculous 100% recovery and will be able to play with all his cousins and friends very soon!
Brandon and I slept at home for the first time last night since the accident. We had people that volunteered to stay at Caleb's bedside while we were gone. I had to come back to the hospital to say goodnight and be with him for awhile and then I had to wake up in the middle of the night because Micaiah wanted to eat. So even though I didn't get much rest it was nice to sleep in our own comfortable bed. (Brandon however slept like a rock for a long time.) I thought I wouldn't be able to do it but we did! We'll be back to sleeping in the chairs by his bed during the week though. Gosh we can't wait till we can take him home. God, please help us to be patient as you heal Caleb.
Well, that's all for now! This week they should be changing out his trach and taking out the stitches...but I will update you again tomorrow! Until then, God Bless and please continue to pray like CRAZY! :) Love you all...

Aloha Kehau,
Here is my dad's website. http://philngeri.blogspot.com/ He is doing well but will go to Chemo on Monday to get rid of the floating cells...but everything is normal. Praise God!! Take care and glad you were able to sleep at home knowing that the nurses, angels in disguise, were watching over baby.
Love,
Joy
I'm praying like crazy. I miss him so much! What I learned on Kaho'olawe this time...devastation occurs in our lives, and healing happens because of 'ohana. Our 'ohana (family, friends, friends of friends and family, strangers) came together to pray to help heal our little boy. Healing will happen as long as we keep faith and stay together as 'ohana. I love you!
Just wanted you to know that a friend of yours is a friend to our daughter who lives on Oahu. Our daughter told us about Caleb and asked for prayer for him. Our church here in Missouri has been praying for him and I also put him on my sister's prayer chain at her church in Oklahoma. We have all prayed for Caleb to be restored 100% and we thank God for Caleb's life and that Caleb is made whole. We (here in Missouri and Oklahoma) are praying for Caleb and his whole Ohana! With love, prayers and aloha!
Aloha,
I heard about your son from my mom who worked at the bus company with your mom. Her name is Sarona. I have been following your story and have read all of your daily updates about Caleb Kamakana. I have found your story to be very inspirational and just wanted you to know that I pray everyday for your son and your whole family. I have also asked my church (Kailua Christian) to pray for him. Please continue to keep your faith and I know that God only gives us what he knows that we can handle. God bless you and your family.
Aloha, Pua
I received the following from my precious bible study teacher...she is quite a prayer warrior and is praying for Caleb. Thought it might be uplifting to you. Be blessed and walk in abundance!
Genice:
Praise God! He is so good and I truly believe that with all the faith being displayed in prayer and words being said, Caleb will return to complete perfect health, SHALOM!
Faith is hearing the Word, believing the Word, saying the Word and acting on the Word. (Four steps given to us by Pastor Larry). I see that in the Mother's comments on Caleb's condition.
Yes, I will continue to pray for Caleb, believing his health is restored, even tho' it may still be awhile before we see it with our eyes..
My God continue to bless you and your family. You are very special to Him.
Love you much. Nancy
