News Update: Caleb's organs are getting stronger and stronger everyday! The doctor said that when he came in, his liver was really damaged but now tests show that there is almost no damage at all. His heart is doing better...they lowered the medicine that they were giving him to help his heart pump so that he can start to do it on his own. He's been doing really well w/that. He also had some movements today...it looked almost like a seizure but the doctor said it is most likely him moving. He said it looks like he's coughing and that's a good sign because it means a part of his brain is working. We can't wait till he opens up his eyes to see us! We're constantly talking to him and we know he hears us. Praise God! We went to church today too and prayed for Caleb. We were so filled with happiness because our families were there and our friends. God is turning many to Christ through Caleb. AMEN! This is the purpose and we are so happy hearts are changing including ours. Thank you all for all of your support and prayers and visitations. We really wouldn't be coping so well w/this w/out all of you!

Our family (both the Ohana group family and our immediate one- Chavez') sends our best and our love, but most importantly, our faith and our prayers. We are receiving up to the moment reports on Kamakana's progress (Elisabeth and Kent are so concerned and vigilant) and all I can think of is... God is great! He truly does miracles and as my favorite scripture states, we "...can do all things through Him who strengthens...". Philippians 4:13. And I totally believe that God is watching over you all... and I am sure that he has great things in mind for Kamakana. Kamakana, you, Brandon, and Micaiah, as well as your entire ohana who are camping so devotedly by his side nightly... you're all in our prayers and hearts. God is good! You all have been such an inspiration to us...your faithfulness in prayer and concern for others throughout this whole ordeal have shown Rachel and I what true worship is all about. We too look forward to the day Caleb opens his eyes and sees the multitudes of people he has brought back to Christ. We will keep you all in our prayers.
