Touched by your HEARTS

I've got the hugest smile on my face after reading comments that were left on my previous blog. That is so amazing that there are so many praying for Caleb that we've never met. We would love to someday meet all of you...you've got such great hearts! Thank you for continuing to follow Caleb's story. And to the sir who saw the sticker on the truck...WOW...thanks for going on the site after you saw it. That's the whole purpose of those stickers and I'm glad it's working. We want to spread Caleb's story all over the world so that everyone may see that GOD DOES MIRACLES and so that many will be saved.
Okay...Tomorrow morning Caleb will be going in to surgery for his tracheostomy (I found out how to spell it!) and his gastrostomy (i think that's what it's called :) ) at about 10am. So please pray that all goes well. We know that he will be okay of course because God is in control and we can't wait to see him fly out of recovery after. What I'm really excited for is to see his handsome little face again! He won't have that tape on his face and the tube in his nose anymore. So tomorrow's going to be a big day for him! Please pray...(as you've been doing)
Oh yes, and he's been breathing on his own for a little more than a day now. He's got the tube still down his throat but they stop pumping in air to his lungs. He's just on pressure support now. So he's been doing it on his own! We're so proud and we are very hopeful that he will be able to do the same after the tracheostomy.
Thank you all for your comments, visits, love, support, and PRAYER! The nurses are always so amazed at how many people come to visit Caleb. We always make sure that he has someone there at his side at ALL times. Thank you to all who have been helping us with that! I know I keep saying how grateful we are and keep saying thank you, thank you...but we are truly so grateful, thankful, humbled. touched...(i can go on and on) . Words really can't explain how grateful we are! THANK YOU ALL! Even to those we've never met...We love you too and pray for all of you every night and day! God Bless!

Hi, Kehau & Brandon!

My name is Hayley. I was a part of the KCS family, attending school and church there since I was 3. I remember your face, Kehau...you used to come pick up your little brother after school... : )
I'm 21 now, living in Los Angeles and came across your blog thru a message from Mele.

I stayed up til about 4 in the morning, reading your story...crying...reading...crying...reading, and then I emailed everyone I know the address to your blogs.

My heart and prayers go out to you and your family.
Since I started reading, last week, I cannot get my mind off of your son and his beautiful little face.
I just want to reach out...

Father, thank you for Caleb. Thank you for keeping him strong. Thank you for his family...their love and faith in You. Keep them safe, Lord, and continue to bless them with your miracles. In Jesus name, AMEN!

Lots of love, guys.

Kehau and Brandon...
I remember you as the little sister with Shanti and Crystal... How those SHA days past us so fast... but I'm so glad to hear that Kamakana is doing better every day... I've been spreading word about his story in Vegas and everyone seems to be asking how he's doing... I pray for him everyday and thank God for the small things in life that Kamakana made so clear to me that I take for granted... I'll be thinking of him at 1030 tomorrow... God Bless you and your family...

Let yourself be hugged and squeezed by God who loves you and Caleb soooo much.
He has the timeschedule in HIS hands and knows when Caleb is ready to open his eyes and smile at you. In the meantime smile at him and know the much needed rest is good for Caleb's body. Take care of your health too; take walks and fresh air and eat good.

Take a break:
Maybe we see you this Sunday in our Youngs Couple Ohana?!?
We love you lots and our prayers are with all of you.

Hey kehau...

I know that its been awhile since I've talked to you and its sad that it had to be something like this. but I am very glad to here about you and your family. I am so sorry about what happen to Kamakana. I always check the blog to see his progress and I am so happy for you that he is doing better everyday. In one of your other blogs i remember you saying something about you wish you could switch places and that made me remember about my daughter Hinatea. I prayed everyday that I could switch places with her because I couldn't handle watching her like that. And then everyday I would pray to God to help her get better. But then I realized that I had to leave it up to him if he wanted her to come home with me...I am so glad that you have that support especially between you and your husband cause i know that helps a lot. Hopefully I can come and meet and see Kamakana one day and I say that because its still hard for me to go into hospitals and see people in those types of situations...But I pray for you and your family everyday and I can't wait to hear more about his progress. YOu are so strong. Take care and God bless
