Believing In Miracles

Hey everyone! Thank you so much for all your prayers! Prayers are so powerful and have definitely been working! Please continue to pray for Caleb "Kamakana."
Today we got the MRI test results and EEG results. Doctors say that there is some brain damage but they don't know the extent of it or where. (Only GOD knows.) And he can recover too...only time will tell. The EEG results showed some brain activity but they said that since he's heavily sedated, he could have more.
The doctor also said that his organs are recovering too. He is still not breathing on his own YET and has many medicines helping him along. The biggest thing right now is watching for any swelling of the brain. We are praying that NO swelling will occur. But just a little bit of good news here and there makes us so happy! Thank you Jesus
But we have high hopes! We are putting all our trust in GOD. He is in HIS hands. We "Believe in Miracles." God has shown us so much miracles already..Kamakana has life in him and he is progressing slowly but surely. So many hearts are being transformed and turning to God. We believe that this is the reason and purpose for all of this. It brings us so much joy knowing that so many are turning to God!
Thank you so much for all of your prayers! WE know that all around the world people are praying for our baby boy! We are so grateful for all your loving hearts. Thank you to all who have been visiting us and bringing things. Without you we would not be able to deal with this. Having everyone around has lifted our spirits even higher...even for those who we don't even know! We've met so many new people...many people are coming to pray for kamakana and us here at the hospital and we have never met them before! What awesome hearts! Thank you, thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Trust in the Lord whole-heartedly that he will restore Kamakana to 100% health and give HIM all the praise, honor, and glory! Thank you...

I just wanted to send my blessings and prayers as well as everyone else for Caleb's healing and recovery to 100%. I do know that it's all in God's time, for His reasons, for His purpose, just trust Him! He can!

When my son Ikaika was 3 years old, while I was at work, he also fell into a pool as he was reaching for a toy in the water. Back then, he was being watched by his young cousins who were all playing around a pool. They left the pool area with my son still sitting by the edge of the pool. The gate closed behind them and locked from the outside. They couldn't get back in. Instead of calling for help immediately, they tried to call out for him, & also attempted to climb over but couldn't.They all saw him fall in; being children themselves, they all panicked, were yelling, etc. before thinking of going upstairs to call their mom, my cousin-in-law. By the time they got to him, he was blue in the face and foaming from the mouth...this is how they described it to me.

After work I went over to pick up my sons, and my cousins told me he was still asleep in the room after playing at the pool. They also asked that I stay for dinner. Not knowing anything, I stayed and chatted with them, but after an hour approximately, I asked them where my son was sleeping because he was napping for awhile and I wanted to see him. They said he was in one of their daughter's room so I felt a strong urge to go to him. I took one look at his blue face, panic and fear overcame my whole being, scooped him up in my arms and called out his name! He barely could open his eyes, and immediately all this water came out of his mouth! I was horrified, only then after I yelled my cousins told me what happened to him earlier while I was at work...I was so upset and beside myself because they didn't even think of calling me, calling an ambulance, or even taking him to a hospital!

It took me years to forgive them or to see them again. I share all these details even though it happened years ago, but because I believe God was so merciful, so loving, I trully know that He kept my son alive and for whatever His reasons, this is why my son is still with me today and did not drown and die that day. Praise be to our merciful and loving God. What would we do without Him! Thank you Jesus, our Lord, our Savior! I love you Jesus and I know you love little Caleb too! Heal Him Lord and bring him to full recovery! In Jesus most powerful Name! Amen.
