Another Happy DAY!

Today Caleb's nurse let us hold him!!!! We were so thrilled. I was so happy that I got to hold him in my arms. When the nurse told me that he was gonna let me hold him I was so happy and I kept asking him "when." I held him until my butt got numb and I couldn't sit anymore. But just having him in my arms, hugging him, singing to him, reading to him...oh, it felt sooooo good! It made our day!
Today they lowered the amount of breaths that the ventilator pumps into him again. He's been doing well with it. Tomorrow they said they are gonna try to lower it again and possibly but him on a different type of ventilator where he will be doing most of the work. He is so strong...it's amazing and truly inspirational. They also increased his feeding too and they are slowly taking him off all his meds from his I.V. and giving it to him through the tube that goes down his stomach. Oh, and yesterday he made doodoo! (Yeah, sorry I didn't blog yesterday...We didn't get a chance.)
Caleb's nurses are so awesome too. We love them! It's so nice meeting such wonderful new people and getting to know people better.
I had a bad day yesterday...I have faith that God is in control and I know that everything will be okay. But I had a bad day because I miss him soooo much! Words cannot explain how much I miss my baby boy. I constantly think about so many happy memories and how he always made us laugh and smile everyday! It's hard to see him in the state that he is in and thinking about how active he was before. I can't wait till he's back on his feet again being a little rascal and driving me up the wall! So Brandon and I had a talk last night while we ate some dinner in the lovely cafeteria. I just thought I'd share with you all some of Brandon's insight because it lifted me up after my "bad day." Brandon told me...it doesn't matter the way we are here on earth. It doesn't matter the way Caleb is right now or how he will be after he overcomes this because we are only here on earth for a short period of time. OUR goal is to follow God and make sure we get to heaven so that we can all be together for and ETERNITY! We will all be happy in heaven...so happy I can't even imagine it! So that's our goal! We must make our walk with God so strong and not stray away!
Tomorrow we will be getting MARRIED! ahhh! haha...We hope to see you all again! Everyone is welcome to come and join us! It will be video taped for those of you who won't actually be able to see it. So then you can see it after in the cafeteria. We will be having a little reception in the cafe after...(Potluck). Then we can all gather together to pray for Caleb!
Oh, another thing...we have bumper stickers (courtesy of Kristi Takimoto) for sale...well, donation of $6.00 and Angel keychains (made by Tiare Yamura) ...donations welcome and much appreciated. And we have more things on the way. If you would like one or the other...or both, you can get them tomorrow or when you come to the hospital...and I will be giving it to people to sell also. So thank you! Thank you again for your continuos prayers and for all of your comments! God Bless you all! We love you!...sorry this blog is super long! :)

Kehau & Brandon, I have been praying for all of you since March 7, when I found out @ 11 PM. I couldn't sleep that night at all. Kamakana has been in my prayers and I have been doing alot of praying every day. Kamakana is such a well behaved little boy. I wish our prayers will be answered real soon. His progress is soooooo GREAT to hear! CONGRATS to both of you on your BIG DAY. I won't be able to make it but my Mom (Aunty Rits) & I plan to stop by on Monday. We Love You All and continue to PRAY.
