Hello Everyone! We will be leaving in several hours to head to the B.I. Brandon and I are excited to spend some alone time but we're gonna miss the boys A LOT...even if its only for one day. (I'm really bad when it comes to being away from them) But we need it....we need some time to relax...and have fun at the tracks there!
Today Caleb had therapy. (His usual Friday sessions) He did really well. They put his hands in a bowl of water and he was doing a lot of movements! Thank you Jesus! I've been praying for the Lord to show us signs that his miracle is in progress and that he may show us signs of Caleb healing everyday! Please pray that with us.
Brandon and I had lunch today with a couple from church. (one of the ladies from my womens group) It was really nice...Anyways...they were sharing with us how they had appointed people to help them pray that they could call at anytime when they started to doubt their faith in what they were trying to get through and I thought...gosh, what a great idea! That's what Brandon and I NEED!
Everyday Brandon and I talk about how we can't wait for the day that Caleb starts running around and getting into mischief with his brother! We WANT to go crazy... :)
That brings to mind...many times we have "downers." I thank the Lord everyday for giving us Micaiah. The Lord knew exactly what we needed and when we needed it. Micaiah is such a joy for us. He's such a smiley baby and he's got such a personality! We love just spending every moment with him and watching him overcome each milestone. Micaiah will have his trials to come also a little later but we know that it will all be fine. Many have prayed for him and the Lord has answered every prayer! The Lord is with him and Micaiah is doing great! He is with the Easter Seals program but has been progressing so well...even quicker than the average baby so he will most likely be discharged from the program before he turns one! (For those of you who don't know..Micaiah was born with Microtia) God is so awesome....really really awesome. Thank you Lord for Micaiah. Without him our bad days would not be so bright. (Does that make sense?) Well, what I'm trying to say is that he never fails to brighten us up! Brandon and I sometimes battle over who gets to "have" him.
I've really got to post some pics up. I know I previously promised some pics of the two boys together and I forgot. I'm so sorry but I WILL post it...and more. And I will let you all know how the race goes in the B.I. I'm sure it's gonna be lots of fun and very successful!
Till then...Happy Father's Day to all you daddy's out there! God Bless!

Happy early father's day to Brandon =) And I am glad that you guys have Micaiah, especially since he is expected to leave the Easter Seal's program earlier than expected. They are such a wonderful organization! My girls loved being there and getting the therapy and socialization time that they could. We are praying for all of you and are happy to know that you and Brandon are able to communicate with each other and get through the bad times. We love you guys! Candace and Ben
Most of us can not truely understand what you are going through and dealing with on a daily basis. But one thing we know: God is FAITHFUL and will not let you down.
It's amazing how many people got touched through all your life.
