Caleb has continued to sleep well through the night. He wakes up around 3:30 or 4am...usually. (But that is REALLY good compared to where we were at before.) Caleb's hands are much looser now. He usually has tight fists due to his high tone. But because of all the therapy he's getting and of course God's healing mercy in progress, he has improved a lot in that area. Praise God! He's getting better and I can actually see it! Since I see him everyday it's hard to see changes that others see. But I see it! Thank You Jesus!
Brandon and I continue to go through our struggles but we are holding on and not letting go. God's going to pull us out of this just like he's going to do for Caleb but we have to keep our walk straight and continue to be fed by the Word. I was just thinking about this today...I can't imagine where we will be at later. I mean how all our lives will be in the future through all of this that we are enduring now. We will be so close and so strong and at a better place in life than we have ever been! Times are really hard now but I am growing closer to God and I'm learning so much about HIM. It's so comforting to know that no matter what happens in life, God is there and he loves me and will never abandon me. So I know I'll be okay...We will ALL be okay. These stepping stones are bringing us closer and closer to the Lord!
Thank you for faithfully praying for all of us...especially Caleb! God Bless!

Dear Kehau and Brandon,
You're right, God will bring you through!
21 years ago,I was pregnant and in the hospital near death and Kent in FT school plus work plus taking care of our than 3 year old, I don't remember all. After many weeks I was dismissed still in a wheelchair, 4 month pregnant and later walked with a walker. But ONE thing we know: it's through this awfull and trying time that we drew closer and pulling our strength from now. The hard times turned later into a blessing.
Keep it up.
You folks are stressed and tired, but still are doing a fantastic job to keep this little boy as comfortable as possible and seeing results. Do not point finger and accuse: it was an accident. Forgive each other and forgive yourselves. Do not live under Guilt, Jesus came to give us LIFE more abundantly.
We love you lots!!!!Elisabeth K.
PS
come join us at the couple's picnic (2-6) at Blasidell Park this Saturday!
Kehau & Brandon,
I give you BOTH my support and prayers DURING THIS CHALLENGING TIME.
CALEB is such a POWERFUL young boy...that with THE STRENGTH & LOVE coming from his mom, dad & little brother...THE 3 OF YOU...he is ready to play once again.
Remember...to LOVE YOURSELF, just as much as you love HIM!
GOD IS LOVE!
