Meeting wonderful hearts everyday!

Well, we still haven't gotten the results from Caleb's EEG. But we know all will turn out positive. Thank you for praying for him and I will let you know what the results are when we find out.

Today, the speech therapist from Aina Haina Elementary came to assess Caleb. They brought in switches to try on him to see which one he could do. There's a bunch of different types which Caleb can press and it will cause something to happen such as a toy to go or he could use it to communicate. It's pretty neat. We gotta get one. But I got drained out today answering question after question about Caleb. I've done it so much already and I had to do it twice today. I think I should record myself. It drains me out and kind of brings me down a bit. I
know they just need to know though. Hopefully I won't have to keep doing that much more.

Our nurse today called in Caleb's meds...and guess what? She found another mistake! The pharmacy made another mistake. On one of his meds they had prescribed to give him 3mL twice a day when it is supposed to be three times a day. We hadn't noticed that on the bottle because we just follow the doctors orders. The pharmacy checked what the doctor had ordered and discovered that they (the pharmacist) was the one who made the mistake. And that is why we were running out of that particular medication so quickly. So that was the third time that they made a mistake. Hopefully that is the last of that. Kinda scary...We really really have to check everything and double check with the doctor and triple check... I hope they aren't overdosing anyone with meds...especially kids!

Caleb has been tracking with his eyes more and more. It makes us so happy to know that he does hear us and looks at us when we talk to him. We've been taking Caleb for walks pretty much every evening now. He loves it. Last night his cousin Callie came and walked with us. She held his hand as we walked...it was so sweet. She also laid down with him in his bed to watch a movie. I know he just loves to have his cousin right next to him holding his hand and keeping him company. Tonight we watched her and she did the same thing with him. We were supposed to take them for a walk again but it started to rain! What a bummmer. So we took them to Kahala Mall instead (one of Caleb's favorite place to go). Caleb fell asleep. We ran into some people at Kahala Mall as we usually do. It's our place to socialize. But one lady came up to us because she recognized Caleb. She introduced herself and we started to talk to her and her husband. It's so wonderful meeting new people who love the Lord and BELIEVE with us. God has graciously put so many wonderful new people in our life and we are very grateful for them.
Caleb is reaching out to so many...this is a part of the greater purpose Jesus has in his plan for all that we are going through. THANK YOU JESUS!
